This is a rant, about something insanely popular. A rant is something that is again, insanely common on planet minecraft but I have a genuine feeling that people will come to their senses. Factions is a plugin that adds a competitive 'edge' to minecraft. In the past I have loved factions and had a ton of fun playing on them but can we look at the server list and see factions server after factions server, unoriginal idea after unoriginal idea and not feel bad about the community and how it is being slaughtered by this cancer plugin.
I dare you PMC'ers to find a server that allows creativity, fun, originalty, and that truly promotes the true spirit of the game without taking it in the other direction of restriction, PvP, and the creation of another indie RPG shooter. If you truly want the game to become another indie shooter, good for you, but if you want the game to be creative, original, and as inspiring as a game can be, wake up and create original servers with original concepts and buildings.
Lastly, I think that all players who have been playing since early beta, alpha or before the 1.8 update can remember a time when this spirit was promoted atlandered by factions, this is my rant, that is all
