1. This blew my mind, but steve is genderless, or, steve was supposed to be genderless, but after they added Alex, it seems like they are not going that route anymore, he was supposed to be called "The Player" and he was not male nor female, he was genderless, since every mob in minecraft is genderless

2. Steves name was actually a joke and ended up being his actual name, his first name was "The Player" or "Player" but changed to Steve, after Notch found out how fitting it was.

3. People say that minecraft is inifite (of chunks), but, infact, it's not, but it's quite huge, that you may call it inifinte, when you spawn, your basiclly in the middle of the world (even though some say that 0,0,0 is) from that spawn point, there will be blocks up to 30 Million Blocks (every block is 1 meter, meaning, that the lenght of the map is 60 million meters
7 times larger then the surface of the earth!

4. If you get over 30 million blocks, the terrain will simplifie it self, and you cannot stand on any of the blocks, you will just fall thru them, and the game would most likely crash.

5. Notch is not the original maker of the Zombie Pigman skin, there is a guy called Xaphobia, who was the original creator, if you go to the skin, there will say thx xaphobia (it might have been removed, i think)


6. In the game file of minecraft, you can find a texture from a chair, and a table, that might have been a idea that they never finished.
