The first block of snow, retrieved at night, with the crescent moon,
He stayed up all night, and came back home at noon.
The second block of snow, retrieved in blinding daylight, the warmth melting the snow,
He sat home quietly all day, re-freezing the ice, how long it will take, nobody knows.
The pumpkin was found, heavy and smooth, perfect for his creation,
After hours and hours of looking, it turns out there was none in his nation.
Would this be the moment? The moment to begin a brand-new life?
Am I man or woman? Boy or girl? Butler or housewife?
Today was the day a new life bloomed.

Balls of cold ice and snow gracefully flew through the sky,
A snowball fight, as I got hit thousands of times, I let out one big sigh.
"Please, oh please! Lets stop now! Its turning Summer, and time for me to go inside."
A tear spilled down thee's face and he started to cry..
"I guess this is a goodbye..."

Few years later, he has gone, searching for blocks of iron and a pumpkin, I was being replaced by thee iron golem, oh so depressed I feel oh now,
Oh, how much I think of him a cow.
Snow turns to rain, as the ice falls apart,
Here I melt, but not my heart.
Thee cold heart, will never fade,
But the faded memories will remain, as I think my final thoughts, so there I melted... And there I will lay.

This is not the end though, no oh no,
But still the wind begins to blow.
As the young boy skips back home, happy to introduce his new buddy to his old,
To only find, oh gosh, oh gosh, the coal, the pumpkin (all sliced up) and the broken twigs, it was starting to get very cold.
"You would've loved him, dear iron golem, but sadly he is gone, as my stupidity and shame falls upon thee." He claims,
He looks upon his old friend, and stares at the pumpkin slices, as the young boy's heart burst into flames...
