First, great blog (I love the design) Second, I agree fully those who do not love what they do should not be doing it, let alone try to get famous for it. Say they do get famous, what then?

I have been working on my YouTube channel for almost a year now, probably not even, and I have over 900+ subscribers. I can tell everyone first hand it is HARD you can not walk into YouTube with out some Goals (easy part) Artistic Skills (Not hard when you learn from others) And last but not least determination. Determination is everything, I mean if you don't have it your projects are just going to be terrible! Determination really does affect everything you do, quality AND quantity. Quality- If you don't have Determination your quality is going to really hurt. Quantity- If you don't have Determination... well you wont get very far.

Thanks for the awesome blog! Get famous while doing something you love! A message from KillerUnicorns

The real tragedy here is that there's a substantial amount of millionaires and billionaires out there that the majority of the population doesn't know about.

Fame is easy to get, money isn't.

This is probably one of the reasons I don't care about being famous, or getting tons of diamonds/favorites/whatever. You become obsessed over it, and it starts to get to you if you fail. That's partly why I don't post on here all that often. No sense in rushing something just to get views or whatever. It usually turns out worse if you do (or at least it does for me, anyways)!

If a person's objective was to post good youtube videos, and they posted bad youtube videos, then they should feel "sad and worthless".  They failed.

Don't be silly.
He's saying in other words that people who fails SHOULD feel worthless and sad, give up and stuff like that. People like you are not liked in this world, you are just harassing others.

And I thought it'll only be one word for such behaviour, and that's what I wrote.

I don't think people should feel worthless if they don't succeed, but if someone does infact fail they may want to rethink or improve what they do for the next time they do it, not just continualy posting bad things even if they are criticised.

SoggyTrousers was talking about you.  It was a joke referring to the conciseness of your argument.  Also, I never said that people should "give up and stuff like that."  I in fact believe the exact opposite.

Agreed, henharm's point of view is skewed to the point where it might do some nasty things in the night to him. henharm I think your problem is that you were grown up with one maybe both parents who are always by your side encouraging and critising everything you do. Maybe you don't under stand what it feels like to fail, maybe you do and you feel like you're sad and worthless. But trust me when I say Nobody should feel sad and worthless if they really do try, try and fail, try and succede, try and "post bad youtube videos".

henharm Maybe you also don't realize that YouTube is a place for all, there is no discrimination against those who post bad videos, Do you know what we YouTubers do? We take them, Grab them by the neck, Pick them up and help them out so one day they can post Good videos and help those who post bad videos.

perfect reply, thank you. now i have to answer that. now fame is a matter of opinion. there is not a certain point called "fame". therefor fame for you might be something very big. while fame for me is small and something else. therefor you can not say i havent achieved fame. because imo i have.

Yeah I like your point about how people just start doing more of what their audience wants. I see this too with people just playing the same games everyone else does and doing this 50 episode lets play with the same thumbnail for months on end until they switch it up to something else for another whole month.

Not to be all nostalgic but I miss the good days when youtubers had variety and really put effort into what they did because they loved it. Not to say it doesn't happen still, but I just feel somethings missing from some of them. Like they lost their way and found new reason in why they do what they do.

Not all of the Internet is American... I'm Canadian, Most of the people who watch Youtube don't even speak English, and there are people on the rise of popularity in things related to Minecraft who don't speak English. (Examples are Willyrex, VEGETTA777, and Gronkh are some good examples) These are just three examples of how the internet isn't only represented by America.
P.S. I just read this over and sorry for the giant reply which turned into a ramble... It's 3 am for me... Gonna go to sleep now... lol

I really like how blogs that tell that being famous is not that important, that views and diamonds are not the world...become famous.
So I guess you want to aswell, don't ya?
Because I don't really think that anyone who posts stuff on a site with subscriptions, a leveling system and new abilites you get when you become more famous doesn't have the intention not to become famous...that would be like uploading a private playlist on youtube filled with LP's.
And besides that you sound very...let's say idealistic, girl.
Well, your blog was universal so I can use universal examples as well, I guess.
Many people use YouTube as their job, by getting money from ads.
You get more view by uploading more videos, which means YOU HAVE to force yourself to upload more and more content and not just when you want.
It's the same with PMC. THe more projects, blogs n' stuff you already have the faster you can get more views and subscribers.
Just imagine a world without the will to become famous on ''social'' platforms: ''No sexual or provocative thumbnails and video desriptions, no more blogs about skydoesminecraft or griefers, -99% let's plays, no more stolen projects, no more skyblock remixes, no more ''fuc*ing with the update logs'', no more totally useless split ups of projects including stuff like ''expansion packs'' just to get more views...no more teen skins, no more survival guides for faction servers, -99% minecraft servers (as most of them are useless survival or factions server where the admin wants to play god), no more anime gifs in blogs just to increase the quality of a rather bad blog, no more stolen skins, no more stolen anything, no more renamed redstone contraptions, no more snapshot reviews (as there is seriously too much of this crap), no more mod reviews...about gun mods, optifine or tutorials on how to install shaders, no more simplistic texturepacks, no more shaderpacks (I mean seriously, nearly everyone is using SEUS ore other famous packs....the rest is useless)
The world would be such a creative paradise without all this uncreative bullshit that's only meant to bring a shitload of views.
And that's basically the online ''world'' we live in, full of uncreative bullshit where only a couple of projects and blogs stands out of the crowd and are really really successful.

I understand what you are trying to say but the mian point I was saying is that they shouldn't be the main things you focus on, personally I don't care if any amount of people see my blogs but I get joy from seeing people enjoy them moreless.

I don't mean to bring up the irony so abruptly, but if you are going to do a blog about how fame and glory isn't everything then you should probably not do it as a subscriber special. It just implies that you are becoming some what famous.

second paragraph... "I'd like to also like to also"
same paragraph... becoming should be become
same paragraph... loosing should be losing
same paragraph... individually should be individuality (not sure if double L or single)

Third paragraph... the simple message "that I" am trying

Don't worry you'll get the hang of it :) I was never really great at that stuff either but it comes to you over time.
Keep it up.
