Featured 5 easy steps!

These will not guarantee you get featured, but they will help out a ton.

First: You may want to build a bit of a rep for posting original and creative content.

Second: If you are good at photoshop or any other kind of visual effects, make your post stand out!
[make it look like something you yourself would click on.] Take your time on your work! do not rush it! people can tell if you put work into something.

Third: Timing is everything! Posting it after kids get out of school can put your upload on the second page within seconds due to most minecrafters being high school age or lower, which means more people will be posting at the same time you are. this may get you a ton of views but I find posting it on a slow time of day gets more downloads, diamonds, and favorites.

Fourth: Subscribers help a ton. so you may create a great skin, but someone with a similar idea and more subscribers can make it to featured a whole lot easier than you.

Fifth: Don't just upload it and watch it slowly fade away. After you upload your blog, skin, texture pack, or whatever.
Go to the chat room and share it with the people of pmc. I find the chat room is usually very nice and will usually give you a diamond or something if the post is actually good. [just do not spam it or anything like that]

Small note: after your first post gets featured, wait till its not featured any longer before posting another one you want featured. It is very VERY unlikely that two of your projects will be featured at the same time.

I wrote this because I see some really good stuff get overlooked and I think it is due to them not doing some of these things. Just know that if you didn't get featured, it doesn't mean your stuff is crap. Keep trying!

How can you get someone to feature your work if no one knows about you to start? I've followed all your tips, and tried to produce my best work, but people still pay no attention to my projects for the most part...

people with little to 0 subs still make it to featured all the time. just follow the steps you can.

my blog was created to encourage the content of pmc to be better than it was before and to help people get featured who could not previously get featured even though they had good projects that they were uploading.

best way to get featured on pmc
1:have a view bot or someone who knows to use/make one
2:rack up 1000+ views on your project (since the reel is based on most views)
3:sit back and enjoy

xray texture packs are against pmc rules yet i saw one on the reel one day and told a site mod in the chat about it and got yelled at :
..i wonder how a xray pack got on the reel...Hmmmm
