Today marks about one month since I started this project. So far, I'm pretty happy with how it's going.

I'm almost completely finished with the Figaro continent, though this past week I've been focused on another task: digging out a big chunk of the sea to the east. You can see that on the big mass of blue on the right side of the image below.

It might not look like much, but there was a lot more work there than you'd realize at first glance. The other three pictures below show the progress at different stages. In the first one, there's not much water, mostly just dirt and trees. In the second one, you can see that I've dug out everything at ground level and gotten rid of the trees, but if you look close, you can see that the water is only one block deep. I paused there and stopped digging on the surface. Instead, I went underground to dig out the area that would become the sea bed. On average, it goes about 15-20 blocks deep, though a few areas go a bit deeper. As I mentioned in my last post, it was an area of about 100,000 cubic blocks to dig out the entire area.

Progress: 4549 blocks added (at the surface level alone), total progress 20,031/682,286
Figaro Cave Progress: 1270 blocks added, total progress 1487/46,805

If you like the work I'm doing, you can Buy Amanda Branford a coffee.
