●   Shooting a fire arrow at the mine cart make it light on fire, causing the flaming effect. If you were to do it with a bow it would break the mine cart most of the time so I will show you how to make the mine carts flame without using a bow.

●   Flaming mine carts are mainly just for looks. They will burn indefinitely until they break or pass by a water column. The fire       produces no light.

●   Mobs in flaming mine carts receive constant damage until they die. An application for this is creating new and interesting mob traps.
