Hello!
So 99% of minecraft players have either tried superflat survival, or though about trying it; but, is the superflat survival possible with Villages etc. turned on? Some say that they have got full enchanted diamond armour, gone to the nether, but nobody truly knows if superflat can be survived and prosper for many long years to come [In Minecraft of course]. Well lads and ladettes [Kinda my new word], today I here to give you a little info about superflat survival.
Can Ores Be Generated In Superflat?
Yes, ores can be generated in superflat, but only if you have stone and decoration in the magic world box generator thingy. There is a catch though, the ores only spawn at specific layers and if you create a world 200 blocks underground of stone, you won't be finding many ores quickly. Basically if your planning on having full diamond armour quickly, don't even bother. Summing this up ores are in specific choices of superflat worlds.
Should You Live At A Village On Superflat?
If your looking for a stable home you can be at for long time, stay at a village. They have trades, food and company. Even though its just "Merrrrrrrrr". If you do live at the village infinite food will be coming your way so you do not have to worry in that department. If you choose not to live in a village, at least try find one because it can really help food wise as previously stated. If you choose to not even go to the village, the food you will pretty much be living on is meat from animals and that will make it hard if you can't find any animals. Summing all of this info up, you should probably live in a village for maximum efficiency.
Summing this info up, you CAN survive in a superflat world but it is more difficult than normal survival because of the choices that have to be make in superflat.
