First on the list is Dandelions!
This flower can be found in many different biomes and can be crafted into Dandelion yellow dye. It is one of 2 flowers that can actually be made. When you bone meal the grass around you, it has a chance of spawning either a red or a yellow flower.
Next is the preposterous Poppy!
In the update 1.7.2 this flower came in to replace the Rose, this means now instead of holding a rose in their hands as a sign of peace, they are holding a Poppy. This can be crafted into Rose red dye.
Up next on the list is my personal favorite, the Blue Orchid!
This flower can only be found in the swamp biome, and it can be crafted into Light blue dye.
The Allium is the next plant on our list.
The Allium is a rare flower that can be found in the flower forest biome, it can be crafted into Magenta Dye.
The Azure Bluet is this flower's name.
Despite it's misleading name, the Azure Bluet is actually crafted into Light gray dye and it can only be found in plains, Sunflower plains, and flower forests.
The Tulip is a fascinating flower!
The Tulip comes in 4 colours, red, white, pink and orange. They are rarely found in plains and sunflower plains, but are often found in flower forests.
The Oxeye Daisy, like many other flowers, is only found in the plains, sunflower plains and also flower forests.
This can be crafted into Light gray dye.
The Sunflower is a 2 block tall flower that can't be placed in a flower pot.
This flower can only be found in the Sunflower plains and it's crafted into Dandelion yellow dye.
The Lilac flowers are another 2 block high flower.
It is usually found in forest biomes, with the exception for the taiga biomes. It can be crafted into Magenta dye.
Another 2 block high flower is the rose bush.
This flower can only be found in forest biomes, and can be crafted into rose red dye.
Last, but certainly not least, is the Peony.
This 2 block tall flower can be crafted into Pink dye and is found in forest type biomes.
