Hello everyone!
You may have heard about Five Nights at Freddy's (or FNaF) THREE coming out.
You have heard correctly, for one of the greatest and hardest games of all time just made its way to the
gaming community.

But anyway, I'm here to tell you about Springtrap. He is known by many names, a few being
golden, the Mashup, golden bonnie, etc. But he is not a mashup, he is a prototype suit that
has a springlock that allows it to have an endoskeleton, then lock the endoskeleton back to
have it as a mascot suit for employees to wear. In FNaF 3, the New Phone Guy plays tapes of
the Old Phone Guy explaining the spring lock systems. At one point he states that even
if you breath on the spring lock the moisture may cause it to break thus bring the endoskeleton
into place... with you.... still there...... yeeeaaaahhh..... pretty bad for you. Hence the name
Spring Trap!

 I've theorized that the Purple Man was inside the suit since Scott Cawthon released a teaser on his website
that was (In purple!) We have a place for him.
It was confirmed when I saw the End of Night Five minigame (there is one after each night) where
the souls of his 5 victims surround him and he sure does freak out! he is running around and it appears he is
yelling or maybe screaming. He looks for his only hope- an animatronic suit to hide in - and sees the prototype
springlock suit. He hops in and laughs at his cleverness- releasing the spring lock. Need I say more? I think not.

More evidence to support this theory is when you start up FNaF 3 and click the night you are on in the start menu
sometimes (very rarely) a picture of Springtrap pulling off his mask to reveal the Purple Man's face.
From those pictures I've learned that Spring trap's eyes- aren't his. They are the purple man's.
They vary on how much is seen of the purple man- but let's just say It's so nasty I don't think I'll add a picture.

On a somewhat lighter note (not really) Springtrap hides alot- like, really. You thought finding chica was hard?
Every time you look at the camera its an I Spy game! Sometimes merely an eye can be seen.

A Very interesting quality (if you can call it a quality) is that he seems to love Balloon Boy- thats right.
Your only defence is using your BB sounds meant so scare customers of Fazbear's Fright, used to
draw him away from you. If hallucination BB comes- springtrap is almost sure to follow.
