Hey PMC! Blox here with another blog. This is my entry for SPEAK's second blog contest!

The Forums - A Guide.

I will be giving you tips and things like that based on my experiences in the forums.

The forums in general.

Well, one thing to start with, always remember to post things in the right section. You cant post Hubs in, say, general discussion. Always remember to check if there is a special section for what you are about to post, before you post it.

There are things that belong in the blog section that people post on the forums, such as rants. If you see a rant on the forums, don't say "OMG noob this is supposed to be a blog!". Instead say: "As I see you are new to the forums, Let me just tell you that these belong as blogs. Thanks :)", See! that's much better!

The roleplaying section.

Ah, the roleplaying section. A place to express your creativity like no other place.

As any roleplayer will tell you, don't one line! One lining is a very bad thing on the roleplaying section. Put effort into every post.

Also, put thought and care into your applications!

Here is an application with almost no effort:

appearance:a blue fox with a tannish sweter
age: 10
powers;flying controing time speed
back story: was born in a town in the trees with the rest of his people but when he was about 9 he move to a city

This is what you want to avoid.

This is an app with a great amount of effort:

Now that's the kind of app you want to be like.

Community Challenges.

The contest area, where people post contests. This section is also a great place to find unrecognised skinners, bloggers and builders. Just a couple of pointers based on my experience:

- Put time and effort into your contests.

-Have yourself and at least one other person as a judge.

-Give a generous deadline.

Ghosts in the code.

I don't really know much about this section. One thing to say is that don't automatically dismiss everything you see on ghosts in the code as fake. Not everything on there is herobrine! If there is someone that is new to minecraft and they see something they don't know what it is, explain it to them!

Forum games.

The forum games area is a very fun section! All the fun games are played here! To make a game that will become popular, you should think up an original idea. Don't use an idea that has already been posted. The good games are the ones that are unique!

Hey! Thanks for reading this blog!

I don't think you need that much backstory, but congrats for the effort. =)

The roleplaying bit? Oh, that's just an example I copied and pasted. You don't have to read that bit :)
