Hand-made organics VS Voxel-sniper organics.

Hey there everyone!


There is this one question that I was always thinking about and It is now time to open it up.


Before I explain it, I would like to share my opinion first.


So...

What would you say about Hand-made organics and Voxel-sniper organics?

Which one requires more skill? By hand or by tools?


I would say, By-hand takes a bit of some skill, but it does require quite some time.


But, with Voxel sniper, You may need some skill aswell, why? In some points, by-hand is very usefull to make smoother areas,  and at the same time, it may save you some time.


Does it matter what you make it with? By hand or by voxel sniper?
For example - The image of the 3D wizard that I have hand-built.
Wil it make any difference making it by Voxel sniper?

I don't have VS on the server that I build for, but I do have world edit and I'm a big fan of hand-organics, so I mix the two. The "smooth" function for world edit is really bad so I make the terrain or organic and then smooth it out by hand. Takes a while, but it's usually worth it.

Yea, by-hand maybe more time, but you'll be happy about the results.

Can somebody explain what is "voxel sniper organics" because I'm really intrested in that? :)

Voxel sniper is a tool that is similar to worldedit, it allows you to terraform and make better organics than worldedit.

I think if someone wants to build organic by hand and cost much time,it's his/her choice.
But I hate anyone who builds it by tool and claim it's build by hand,just want to get more attention.

By the way,I prefer worldedit.

the above. The only reasons to not use voxelsniper for terraforming and organics are: 1. not knowing how to use it, which can be resolved easily by watching some tutorials and practising, and 2. not having access to a server where you have voxelsniper permissions.

Yea, I don't like that either, but when i build organics by hand, i feel more accomplished rather than using tools, even if it takes some time off your hands, Why do you prefer world edit? With voxel sniper you can smooth areas without lifting or messing up the rest. I might be missing something, but thats what i've been through lol.

I usually use worldeditwrapper+worldeditcui+keybind to build in singleplayer map.It can draw some lines and curves,do some rotates,thats quite enough for me.
