Now, scrap the cheesy title. My name is Casey, I am a member of team Cephyr
I love doing all kinds of builds, especially hand terraforming!
I'm here to show you exactly how to master the technique of small walls made of stone, you ready?

I'm here to show you exactly how to master the technique of small walls made of stone, you ready?
Step 1.
Grab some stone :D
Now, you may be thinking, Casey? Why the axe in the right corner. Well, because we may need to change some blocks in the near future.
Step 2.
Start to make the outline for the wall, Now since we are only doing a small wall for starters. We just want a basic. Curvy wall. Like this.
When making this ouline, we want to keep in mind our style, in this let's go for old, broken down wall.
We need to remember that old walls need to be shorter, and maybe a bit tall in the middle section. Given that they've eroded over time. Now since we can't really see much with this picture, we want to do the same outline on the top as we do the bottom, now this is just for starters, so the patterns are going to be very similar.
Step 3.
Starting the bottom ridge line.
Now this is very tricky part. The patterns we are going to use are very generic, and rather plain.
We want to kind of see a spiky wall pattern, so let's try something like so....
Now, you may see that i've added some red wool 1 block under/above each wall outline. That's just to easily place my blocks. No need to do that in yours. If need be, you can.
Now, i've noticed that, "Hey that's really tall spikes if we wanted a tall middle bit" Well, we will get to that later. For now we move on.
Step 4.
Inserting the body of the wall.
Now, what i've done here, is that i've placed my blocks around the outside of the taller, bottom blocks. Then trimmed it. And made some bits taller, now that's just to add a more realistic affect.
Keep in mind, we don't want to make this really tall. Just short and sweet (This is for beginners after-all)
Step 5.
The big one.
Now, this is the hardest part, since we screwed with the middle bit. The top bit may seem a little tall right? Well, that's why we trim. Now, what I advise you to do is, fit the top part in with the edges of the middle bit, and see how it looks. If it looks to tall, or maybe that the spikes are too short. Trim the top part only. If you need to then in dire need. Change the middle bit, but it always stays as is, we don't normally change it.
Step 6.
The End?
Now, what i've done here is. I've placed an assortment of cobblestone walls, and mixed the Dryed Clay. and Mossy stone with the wall to make a old texture to it. Now, when placing these we need to keep in mind mixtures are never too much, never too little. And that goes for terraforming too. We want very little wall, About 68% stone, about 21% dried clay, and about 11% Mossy Stone.
Step 7
Told you.
We are almost done with our first wall!!
What we need to do is add some vines, in such a way that they don't interfere with other blocks. Now what we want to do is kind of add a spiral of vines coming down to a focal point of about 5-6 blocks from its starting point. And VOILA!
Our First Wall. :D
I hope you enjoyed, please diamond. This took me a while to type, and put together. Thank you!
