If you could pick anything in the world to excel at, what would it be?
Starting it off with a hard one, eh? This is always something that changes for me, because of my ADHD. I just want to be good at EVERYTHING, long followers might have noticed this. Long streams of wallposts of me trying new things. My newest trend for me seems to be skin renders. So if it had to be one single thing that would be the one that makes me happiest and what I always come back to. Art!
I like to paint and draw digitally as well as traditionally. It's always a dream to get better and make something more of it.
What's your favorite submission you've made?
Making me pick my favorite child. :(
Well, for sure I have been loving HD skins. I can put so many more details! I love it! So I think my favorite is probably Sona, the way I made the hair still makes me feel content inside. Most anybody probably understands how hard it is to really like something you made, but wow I like the hair here.
When did you get into Minecraft, and why?
Probably mid-2011, I was 11 at the time. My little sister and I were so excited that my mom bought a Nook, we really never had any tech in the house besides TV and Gameboys. When mom wasn't reading, she would let us play Minecraft that she downloaded on there. We didn't have internet, so we played that old mobile version (Pretty much the first version as well) for about THREE YEARS before I even tried it on PC.
And pretty much everything else there is history, and the makings of a pretty cool childhood
What else do you enjoy doing other than making skins?
So many things. In no certain order:
Assuming this isn't bound to just items, I think it would have to be something along the lines of extreme intelligence. I am not the smartest cucumber out there and it would be nice to try to make some ground breaking advancement within an hour.
If it had to be an item, I am pretty content with only a few material belongings. So maybe something like an expensive food I could try? Gold covered potato chips? Beef from a cow who was fed cotton candy its entire life? A Krabby Patty? I think the answer I am probably looking for here is a fancy food buffet... mmm...
What/who inspires you?
For skinning, it's definitely KnobleKnives. Even to this day every once in a while I like to revisit the old color blogs and read them over. Amazing resource for anyone looking to get better with colors!
What is your opinion on Discord light mode?
The only correct opinion: it bad
What is your favorite memory from PMC?
Well, like two years ago there was a server called Phrozencookie posted by a contest organizer on the site and my friend Spirit Boston and I decided to hop on and take over the server. As we do. It happens a lot, don't ask.
Anyway, I got the chance to meet some amazing people on there (And some not so amazing people of course, haha). Hopefully one day when everything in the world returns to a more normal state, Carcharodontosaurus, Romto_ and I can all meet up!
What is one thing not many people know about you that you wish they did?
I'm going to do two because I am a rule breaker and a little greedy (Wait, no. That's not what I want everyone to know about me.)
First one is that I kinda wish more people understood how super unprofessional I am at everything. It never seems to show over text so I feel like people think I am way more serious than I actually am. Spirit Boston and I love goofing around and record our awful gameplay.
Second is that I used to do a really cool job! I used to work and live on an island and give horse drawn tours. I actually was kindly considered so good at knowing the history and interacting with people, they let me give the VIP tours only after working there for a year! I'm a little proud.
In return of me bragging, I offer pictures from my work. I have A LOT of horse pictures if anyone ever wants to see any. ;)
