Hardcore Thrives | Chapter 1

Lance's POV

I was in my survival world, doing my regular daily things like mining, chopping trees, and such. I got out of the mine, my inventory had a bunch of ores. Iron, coal, gold, lapis, and more. The mineshaft had so much ores and items.

No diamonds though. I never really found diamonds. I feel like I never will. Back to my house, where it was safe and sound. I opened my door and there was another person. A girl in fact. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't know somebody was living here!"

She was getting the things I had in my chest. Of course, I couldn't get mad. Not eve- Wait. This is a survival singleplayer world...How?

"How did you get here? This is a survival singleplayer world!" I yelled. I didn't know why I did, I guess I just yelled. My voice can't be controlled. She started crying. "I...I just...joined your...LAN server...I thought this was your abandoned house...and so I took the items.."

I felt bad and so I gave her some of my stuff. "Here. What's your name?" I asked while handing her some armor and tools. "My name is Sky...You?" Her voice was delicate and not loud. She seemed shy, I mean who wouldn't? She doesn't know me, so I give her the right to be scared of me.

"Lance." I smiled.

"You can stay with me and survive here if you would like to." I told her. With a welcoming face. My world was on LAN. No wonder she could've came. I went to my chests and put in the ores and items I found.

"Thanks. Also, that's a nice name." She was cute. No, no, no, Lance stop it. I froze there. When I was telling myself to stop at doing something I always freeze...It's wierd.

"U- Um..Uh...Thanks! It's my real name. You see, we just told eachother our real names." I let out a small laugh. She giggled along.

"Yeah. After all, Sky is my real name."

"It's part of your username." I pointed at her username. Then, I looked up at mine: TheLancer23. I might've been pretty stupid when I was making up that name. I'm stuck with it now as my username.
