Oh boy, it's been a while since I've written a blog but I thought it would be fun to talk about what happened during my first year on PMC instead of creating a contest of some sort. To make this interesting I will not only talk about my journey but also some extra information on some submissions that I have specially weaved for fun. Other than that, let us begin:
-Chapter 1: My journey through PMC-
General Progress
If it wasn't obvious, I joined PMC on the 14th of May 2018 where I was a Steve head with very few widgets. Of course, the very first thing (I think) that I did was submit my very first project and submission: Return to Aperture. After that, I introduced myself and continued working on the second chapter. Funnily enough, I never really expected to get into skinning. After all, I had fulfilled my purpose: To let others play the Portal map that I was making. However, I never got into skinning until I saw that one of my friends, Abdera Associate, made multiple skins. After this, I made my very first PMC skins: Dasher and Bouncer (or was it jumper), which I highly despise. I then started to love skinning after creating a skin for DinowCookie's Madness contest, which although my entry was terrible, was still a fun contest.
By the 4th of July, I joined Dinow's Skin Feedback Chat (which is currently very very dead) and started to meet more and more skinners by the 21st of August, where multiple skinners gave me feedback and later became my friends. After that day I became more active on Discord and met more friends, although that's a story for another day so let's just say that I met more and more friends here from Discord.Finally, I would like to thank some members who have been on my side ever since my Portal phase. It's a bit unfortunate that some of you won't be able to read this message, but I'd just like to say thank you.
By the 4th of July, I joined Dinow's Skin Feedback Chat (which is currently very very dead) and started to meet more and more skinners by the 21st of August, where multiple skinners gave me feedback and later became my friends. After that day I became more active on Discord and met more friends, although that's a story for another day so let's just say that I met more and more friends here from Discord.Finally, I would like to thank some members who have been on my side ever since my Portal phase. It's a bit unfortunate that some of you won't be able to read this message, but I'd just like to say thank you.

The Hatswitcher (personal MC skin)
Not uploaded but I am quite proud of how I shaded this one (besides the inner parts). If you haven't noticed yet, this skin is a version of the Stepswitcher from Rhythm Heaven but was tweaked to fit my persona.
My worst skin is...
bouncer or jumper or whatever it's called
It has no style, it has no grace but this skin doesn't have a funny face.

-Chapter 3: Regarding Return to Aperture-
What is Return to Aperture + What Happened?
"Return to Aperture, as mentioned before, was a Portal map developed by Hatsy that aimed to recreate classic Portal maps while implementing new features that some Portal maps didn't have"
In other words, I made Return to Aperture because I thought that I knew more about Portal than some map creators but I actually did not. wanted to create a brand new, "fun", Portal map for fans to enjoy.
Regarding Return to Aperture's future, yes, Return to Aperture is officially canceled. It took me a while to say it but I finally made up my mind: I did want to finally finish the project once and for all but I had other things to do and lost my motivation to do so. Once again, I would like to apologize to the people who were waiting for the 4th Chapter and was waiting for it for months. However, I will upload an unfinished version of Chapter 4 for the people who were waiting just so they could experience more chambers.

What Now?
Now that Return to Aperture is finished, there's one more map to finish.
Yes, I am talking about Portal Playground, a Portal map with no lore and revolves around Portal's puzzle aspect.
