Way 1. Go to skinning website. Then create new tab> Go to google images> Google a cool picture> Download the picture> Go back to skin website> Import the picture. Now you have an awesome base skin.You might want to delete the top layer which always fills up when you import pictures. You can add facial features, cloths, decorations, or whatever you want to complete the skin.

Way 2. Create a base skin. You can do this by making the entire skin a skin color, and then adding hair and facial features. Download this base skin and then you can add different cloths and decorations and easily make tons of cool skins with the same base. To make your skins more different you can change the color of the hair or skin (quickly done with the with the paint bucket tool).

Way 1:
Problem: The whole skin turns out one or two colors and ugly for a base skin
solution: Try another picture. Very detailed and colorful pictures work best for way 1.

Way 2:
Problem: The base skin was used for multiple skins, and one was deleted for being too similar to the others.
solution: If that happens, I would suggest using the paint bucket tool to change the hair or skin colors, and deleting a few pixels of the hair so it's more different from the other. Make the clothes more different too. Remember, the base skin should just be the hair and skin. You should save the base skin before adding your first clothes, or you'll always have to delete those colthes when you use it.
