Helmets can be drawn onto skins, why not the rest of the armor?

You know how you can draw a helmet on a skin that isn't the leather/iron/gold/diamond armor in game? Why not the rest of the armor? I have seen skins where people drew the default iron armor on them but it didn't look right; not because it was a bad skin, it was because the Minecraft players body is smaller than the armor. Some skins such as Knights could be so much better drawn if Mojang would add the rest of the armor other than a helmet. I think this would be a great idea, if you agree please comment and diamond.

I was right... I knew it would happen.

I see where your coming from with this, but I have to disagree. It would be really cheap and would feel like cheating if you could do that.

How would it be cheating? The armor would have no effect in game.

It's just that it souldn't be able to seem so real to real armor. Then there would be absolutely NO WAY to tell the difference :P

Well it would be a way to tell, if someone drew their own armor they wouldn't draw it to look like the default texture (or I wouldn't anyway, I hate the default textures) it would be easy to tell. But if someone did mimic the armor of any texture pack, Mojang should implement a way to tell that it was fake.
