For many years people thought Herobrine was just a hoax. I'm one of those people, until one day...me and my friend were playing on a server together. We thought that Herobrine wouldn't appear. We made some gold blocks and gather some mossy cobblestone and some netherack. We crafted some redstone torches up and made a flint and steal. We went out by each of our houses and built a Herobrine totem. Like this one:
Thinking this would just be fake and this would just be a decoration, we lit the netherack on fire. Nothing happened. No lightning struck, but we did it at night. The most creepiest thing that we both thought was just coincidental was a screeching violins ambient sound played. While we weren't by a cave. We thought it wasn't real...UNTIL...my friend started walking back to our houses. He saw just faintly on a hill, a Steve skin moving. We both checked the server list for anyone on (because the server is port forwarded) but no one was on except me and him. We both freaked out!! We started heading back to his house. I turned around to look at the totem we built and something bother in the forest that as behind it. I freaked out!!! We went into his house with a piston door and we pulled this switch that locked the pistons. We were all freaking out in the chat!!! By the next day (in Minecraft) we headed out from his house with 2 diamond swords...2 stacks of 64 golden apples (we worked hard!!!) We headed out all geared up. We went by the totem. Nothing went on. My friend thought he saw Herobrine in the woods but he realized that since my game was less laggier I had my render distance higher than his so I could clearly see it was a zombie under a tree from the previous night. So I calmed him down. We started heading back to my where. Something freaky just happened to me and now I regret making that totem. When I was walking back this weird noise. Staticy and just an off sound that I have nevered hard...EVER....in Minecraft. I could tell it was behind. I told my friend if we heard that. He said yes. But it was louder for me. I could of sworn that HIM (Herobrine) was right behind me. I now wished I did look behind me. Until that day...Herobrine's been haunting our server. The most creepiest thing was...a few Minecraft days after we found the totem...GONE! We didn't know what happened to it. But Herobrine was still haunting, Later that day of playing we found in a side of a hill by our houses...a random pressure plate. Nothing happened and when we broke the stone around it, there was nothing.
So if you don't think he's real...think AGAIN!!! I now realize he is real!! My suggestion is...NEVER EVER...build a Herobrine totem!!! I'm warning you...
