I wish I could share emotions
instead of sitting there with a
fake smile. I never intended to be
like this, I just want to make
others laugh, laugh while they
are still holding onto the last tree branch.
I don't want to feel like I don't care,
I just want to make others happy, but
yet I'm holding it all in while it
boils up inside of me, soon to burst.
I don't look out for myself, I look
out for others, and hide away my thoughts
and emotions. Its unhealthy, I know, but
I cant control it, like an addiction. All those
times I had the chances to just hug you,
to let those tears soak up my shoulder,
that is what I've always wanted to do,
care on the outside, but I just sit there
while the tape rolls. But all the while
you've glanced at me, a smile stretched across
my face, that was just a mask,
to cover up my miserable personality.
I'm pathetic.......
