There's this Opacity bar, but first you have to use the eraser tool. Then go back to pixel mode. Or draw mode, I don't know what it's called. Then choose the tint of the texture and turn down Opacity. I hope this helped.

Opacity can also be used to tint another color, adding almost infinite color possibilities, and for easy shading!
