First, I did research on topics that are trending the community i am in...
ex. Minecraft, CSGO, other..
Then a made a video, with a good mic and a click bait thumbnail (Not trolling)
AS a small YouTube you need some kind of strategy i used click bait and timing.
I then made a video about the topic at hand, and made it controversial this then drew comments.
(Why this is important?) When someone replies to another persons comment they come back to the video to read it, giving you another view and comment and this goes on, and on.. till they get bored.
There is more you can do, but i have only been at it for a week so :)
