How many zombies die a minute? Well this is an average amount for singleplayer.

So first lets start off with how many zombies you can kill with each type of sword in one night.
Wooden Sword: 12 Kills on Average
Golden Sword: 12 Kills on Average
Stone Sword: 23 Kills on Average
Iron Sword: 34 Kills on Average
Diamond Sword: 47 Kills on Average

The average amount of kills in total for all these swords is 25.6, I'm going to round up making it 26. One Minecraft night is 10 minutes, so 26 divided by 10 is 2.6. So you kill about 2.6 Zombies in a minute, but wouldn't you like to know how many zombies are killed in a minute?

There are 12,400,000 Minecraft users, only about 256th of the players, which is 48,437.5 users, are playing singleplayer. 48,437.5 times 2.6 is 125,937.5. So there are about 125,937 Zombies being killed in a minute. More than you thought, hm?

Well the average length of a Minecraft game is about twelve hours. (amongst my friends this was tested.) So not including the time in the Nether and the End is about 2.5 hours. Now bringing back the number from before of the average nightly Zombie killing of 26. 26 times 3 is 78 which is a full hour. So multiplying that number by 9.5, the answer come out to be 741 Zombies.
