What you say is true, but how to tell people that "your" server is different?

Our server only has one donator rank giving you some more comfort features, but no pay to win. The goal is simply to get the overall cost of server forum and and all off the shoulders of the single owner, not make money with it.

When server is getting more money than it costs we will move to new better hardware to even improve the experience.

Lately i even experienced that new players join and say "Hi, who would give me this and that?". This drives me crazy. So it even seems some players search for P2W servers.

So true again (Ive been intreged by your views on the mc community lately), Many servers need to become what they used to, more about the community a hobby for the staff and owner, not just a way of making money, for some Op gear. I have found myself that this is most found in servers based around PvP and raiding (in which i hate) where the donators get what they want when they want despite dedicated members on the server contributing, not economicaly, but socialy to the server. On the server I staff for we have a system when donators get what dontator always get from a server, but we also offer a way for people to earn ranks much better than the donators by playing on the server and being a overall benifit to the community

I agree. But also i think the stupid PVP is ruining stuff. Back in my day servers were small, friendly and about building with friends. Things have changed now the chavs have come along.

Greetings all I can say is that IM JUST starting to publish my server to the public soon and will be starting out with 860 dedicated servers ((160 more then hypixel's dedicated server amount)) im even having tons and tons of custom plugins being made and custom maps and etc that im working on.

as a server owner I would kinda disagree though im not like what you described in the above info, but I will say that there is many servers like that. and even after this post many wont take a look at there actions and that's why there server will parish.

I typically like smaller server spawns ((even though I personally have a 500 circular server spawn xD)) but I think also many servers have TOO small of a spawn for mini game waiting rooms which make things seem cramped and etc :(idk just my opinion depends on designs and what the server offers

I mean I see your point but most people in high school don't have a lot of time to make a good server like me im 16 its hard to work on a server without getting yelled at :/ when I was younger I made a good server but I lost it and no one plays on it now so I had to close it.
