Welcome back.
This is another installment of my reasons why I hate everybody.
Let's start with this.
AGAPANTHUS.
An agapanthus is a flower, also known as the Nile Lily. However, it is not actually a Lily, but it is an Iris. An iris looks like a lily, except different. A nile lily starts out as a pod in a cluster of leaves, like Society Garlic. Society garlic, however, is a pale green colour whilst The Agapanthus is *Actually* a rather full green. An Agapanthus starts out as a pod on a stem, gradually growing upwards. The leaves around it also start to develop into very skinny, long leaves. Finally, when the flower inside is fully developed, the pod of an Agapanthus breaks off, revealing several pod-shaped purple to blue to white flowers. They are, in a personal opinion, rather lovely.
The Agapanthuses have nothing to do with this rant about Perilous Planet Minecraft, as you may have guessed. If you didn't and furthermore actually STOPPED reading this blog, I laugh at you. Nothing personal. I shall laugh in your general direction, for you were acting sillily. Now on to the rant.
There is a certain danger in this community developing. More accounts every day are being hacked. For a person, a little while ago was messing around somewhere in .Minecraft and discovered something. Something big. Something Brutal.
As dangerously few people are aware, Notch has been logging on to random servers very recently, followed by others, like SethBling, Disco, Etc. Now, this is the perfect test for what this person found in the jar file. To log in to the accounts of ANY account in the Minecraft community without requiring a password. There are already hacked things that do this, (Such as Minecraft SP) but they only have access to the skin of said user and cannot log into multiplayer servers.
Now, the worst part is, word got out, and hackers all over discovered it. Notches and RedStoneHelpers and Cyprezzes logged in from everywhere. These people, being some of the most famous people in the Minecraft community, were given op and World Edit and all of that stuff. Which they then used to destroy the server. Soon, someone who knew how could be paid to take down the server. Hack into a celebrity's account and destroy the world. Soon, though, we got wise.
The thing that tipped us off is, that, as everybody knows, Notches nameplate is always gold. Having been on a server with him before, (You are Minecraft), I learned this, but it is still common knowledge, as, (Much to my embarrassment), It was on the Wiki. The name plates on these Notches were different 2 of the rainbow. That's how people found out. The worst part is, this happened so quickly, that it (Apparently) wasn't fast enough to go onto the servers to destroy a server that banned you, and actual HACKERS were called onto this scene and paid to take down and literally destroy the computers running the servers. They would bug them down SO badly with viruses the computer could never run an efficient server again. (Or at least for a long time). And it's still not enough. I have reason to believe that ICHG, (I Can Has Grief) caused this by creating the first public use of a hacked client. The found something to unban them from the servers they were banned from. Not only that, but destroy the backups. They made public griefing a thing.

Oh, good, my slow clap processor still works. Congrats, ICHG, you released this abomination upon us. Now, it was possible to ace into accounts before this. One person, (MinerKieth) had their password revealed and posted online. Each time I reset my server, I have to keep banning MinerKieth because people keep getting his account. Recently, though, I wrote to him, informed him that they knew his password, and he changed it. He was pardoned from my server. (Hopefully never to get banned again). Speaking of my server, I also recently had to shut it off so nobody could get through. I'm still worried about the buggers.
(Get it? Buggers? Viruses? No?)
So now, here I am, stuck, hardly allowed to get on any servers. Wanna know why? I'll tell you.
Apparently, having a hacked client wasn't enough. Now, hacked SERVERS will force the IP address, username, and password out of anybody who joins them. Why would people do this? To grief and get other accounts banned instead of their own. And why would we come to these servers? I'll tell you why. Humans are greedy and the CANNOT resist one call in order to get power: "NEW SERVER NEEDS STAFF NO WHITELIST IP ADRESS IS:o ¦o ¦o ¦" I got onto one hacked server that I didn't realize was hacked. I kept changing my password until I found out that it was one of my favourites (I won't tell) and by know it's too late. I am GLOBALLY banned on any server that has MCBans. So I stopped playing multiplayer. Now, I just bonk off on single player. It's a lonely existence. But I don't have any other choice.
I'm Sorry this one was so short. I'm just not feeling very typey today. My stupid American Macintosh is trying to correct my words (Like "Favourites" and "Colour") and I'm not very happy. I probably won't ever be able to redeem myself on MC bans. I'll just play singleplayer until the whole thing blows over. I hope nothing happens to you guys, either. I love you all for listening to me.
