Hello guys, recently I've been seeing people asking "How do I install this mod, or this one?"
Well I decided to show you how to install it in two different ways. I ain't sure if this tutorial works for Mac, but it's worth a try!
I will split up in the two different parts, so it'll be easier for you to understand! :
Version
Okay so it'll be some steps here, I'd say this is the easiest part!
1) Download the Magic Launcher MOD, you do not need to download it like the others. It's a launcher so it will be some sort like a Minecraft-Icon.
1,5) When you've downloaded that, place it on your desktop to find it easily. Great!
2) Now that your Magic Launcher is ready, download the MOD you want. Etc: You want the mods from Mo'Creatures, then download Mo'Creatures mod!
2,5) Some mods require Forge, Forge is also a "mod" I'd say. It allows you to use certain mods like Mo'Creatures and other cool mods. Also, some mods needs other mods to work: Etc: Mo'Creatures needs Animation API mod to work. This ain't hard, just download that too! Forge can easily be installed, it'd be a link at the bottom :)
3) Okay, so now that you got the mods you want, place them on your computer desktop. This will make it easier for you to add the mods to Magic Launcher. When you've done that you open Magic Launcher, I suggest you first log in and try Magic Launcher, to be sure. Log in with your username and password. This launcher do not steal any passwords or anything, so don't worry :)!.
3,5)After you've done that, quit the game and open Magic Launcher again, then you click on setup. Setup is above "Options" in the bottom right corner. Here's a pic:

4)Now, that you've found the setup button, click there and a new side will pop up, so this might be a little complicated. You can see that it says a lot of stuff. But this is easy, in the midle of the page, it'll say: "Mods". So if you want to add a mod to magic launcher, just click on the "Add" button on the right side.

4,5) Now you just find the Mod you were looking for on the desktop, since you've downloaded it. Click on it, and you've added the mod. You can use many mods in the same time as well.
4,75) Important info: If you need to use forge, you must go to the top of the page, where it stands "Environment" and etc: 1.7 or 1.6. If you click on the arrow pointing down at the right side of that, you'll find all game modes, or not all but most. Click on "Forge".
5) When you've added the mods you wanted, and changed gamemode to forge then you click Ok at the bottom, and login/play minecraft!
Have fun, hope this part helped you, if not maybe this will!

Okay, so now it's to the part where you don't need Magic Launcher, but just Minecraft itself.
1) Okay, so I'd say this actually is easier than Magic Launcher, weird but true.
1,5) The first thing you want to do is to find out if the mod requires Forge, Forge Mod Loader or anything else. As I said at Magic Launcher part. So this is quite the same as Magic Launcher, just that in Magic Launcher is kind of easier to adjust and control the mods.
2) Now, find the mods you want and/or the extra ones if needed. Forge can be installed easily, it'll be a link at the bottom.
2,5) Go to the Start-Menu and search "mods". Just "mods" and do not click on Modsupport, it doesn't help you.
3) When opened the "mods" map folder, place the mods you want in there in the map folder and X out the window.
3,5) Now you open Minecraft, the new launcher really help you with mods which requires mods. If you installed Forge it shall be a "scrolldown" as I call it, where you can choose different game modes/updates. Like 1.5.2 etc. You go there, and scroll down until you find "Forge" or "FML". No FML do not stand for Fuck My Life :). It stands for Forge Mod Loader. I think both works, but I'd recommend using the Forge one. By the way, when you click on the Forge one you might have to login, but I guess that ain't a problem :). Here's a pic:

So yeah, I guess that's it! Just hit the Play button and have fun :)
If you are having any problems, I'll try to help! But I'd suggest trying both these ways first :)

New way to add a Mod! :D : by AlsoKnownAsCreepy 12/01/2013 2:45:32 pmDec 1st, 2013
Added a new way to add a mod to minecraft.
This works for both Mac and Windows, since it is for the official Minecraft Launcher.
Thinking about adding other versions soon, if possible. Even maybe make a YouTube video.

Maybe your username is wrong, if you made your account after 2012/2011 you must use your E-mail instead of username.
But take a pic and give it to me :)
it turned red and said "Error" and it asked for offline mode
