Note: For the people that don't know, MoTD stands for 'Message of The Day' and is the message displayed by a server.
Hey guys! It's the Derpcraftia staff here with a tutorial on how to add colour to your Minecraft MoTD.
First, you need to goto your server.properties
Scroll down until you find something that looks like this:
motd=A Minecraft Server
Okay, presuming that you know how to change a server MoTD, this is now the bit where we add colour.
If you know how to do colour codes in game for example &6 is gold, then this will be easy.
Instead of doing &6, you would do §6. Replacing the & with §.
List of colour codes:
§0 - Black
§1 - Dark Blue
§2 - Dark Green
§3 - Aqua
§4 - Dark Red
§5 - Purple
§6 - Gold
§7 - Grey
§8 - Dark Grey
§9 - Indigo
§a - Green
§b - Blue
§c - Red
§d - Pink
§e - Yellow
§f - White
§l - Bold
§n - Underline
§o - Italic
§k - Magic
Hope this helped!
