Now, most of you may be thinking of the title as something impossible. "Getting admin/mod/OP easily? How can that be possible?"

Well, I'll tell you my secret to getting admin status on most of the servers I go on daily.

Get there early. I don't mean get on the server at 3am or something. I mean get on the server when it is first posted anywhere. Say for example someone posts an advertisement for their server in a forum post or server list. If they say something along the lines of "Looking for Staff" or "Looking for Builders", go for it if you want admin status.

First, you need to be a good builder. Make some quality builds and take your time to build them. Once that's done, upload screenshots to an image hosting website and you now have images that will work for anyone who asks for builds of yours.

Second, you may need some references. If you don't have any references from other servers' admins, you may have a lower chance of becoming an admin, but don't let that kill your dreams. The owner/admins will most likely up your rank to something like Helper or Citizen to see if you are good enough as an admin.

What's that? The server is only offering builders and no good admin-like ranks? That's okay! Since you have Builder permissions, you are more than likely able to use various commands like WorldEdit/WorldGuard, set warps, use command blocks (maybe... not always), and do whatever you really want with whatever you are given.

Being Builder can even lead you up to being an admin rank if you work for the server long enough and well enough.
