                                             How to become staff on almost any server!
Disclaimer: THIS IS FOR ALOMST ANY SERVER NOT ALL SO DON'T BE TO CRITICAL! ALSO MOST OF THESE METHODS ARE DESIGNED FOR SMALLER SERVERS!

Do you find your self constantly applying for staff and almost never getting the spot??? well! look no further in this tutorial I'm going to go over some eticit and methods to get staff on nearly any server. Let's begin

How you should act:
For one don't go on the server asking for op/staff or anything of the sort that will get you in a bad spot with the owner.
Two, you should try to relate to the owner be funny analyze his/her personality and try to well; Relate! ou
Examples, if the owner has a username like "bleachfan123" He's obviously an anime fan so talk to him about that and get him to like you people love others they can feel confortable around and talk about what they like. Like have you ever joined a server and some other guy join and only jokes around with the owner and gets staff while you know java programming? this is because people love those they can relate to! this is pretty much all you need in this area.
Applications:
This is an easy one basicly all you need to do is write in complete sentences to make it longer maybe crack a joke or two (nothing offensive or immature) put good info and make it seem professional. (use proper grammer unlike me)

Age: 16
Name: Franklen Bean
Why you want staff: I would like to become a member of your staff team because I am a highley experiance java programmer and Builder I think I can bring a more professinal flare to a basic server and help it expand into a larger server that has not only more people but more regulars. 
A bit about you: I am a 17 year old athlete I run track and play football but in my spare time I help server owners expand there servers. I'm an aspiring programmer and have been self teaching my self for the past 3 years and I just like to have fun
(this is a shortend version your real application should be a bit longer especially if you are applying for a bigger server)

Another thing to do is show off your skill, if the owners having issues with something help offer assistance. It's better if you don't ask for staff to do it just tell him what to do and you will likley be rewarded  also don't be to demanding yelling in chat "oh I can setup gm" maybe send a small pm offering some assistance but if he says no drop it thats it as a former owner i can say the most annoying thing is when people can't take no for an answer. so be patient.
 
Skype Interviews:
In skype interviews you must be respectful and honestly it's better if you have a deeper voice...if  your a squeker your most likley gonna have to work a bit harder because younger players or seen as more imature or stupid/unknowlagable. You also must speak fluently don't pause alot this seems a bit suspicious. And be careful on what your skype update and profile pic is. If bio is about hacking and your pic is some stupid picture don't add them I would reccomend changing so you seem a bit more reliable.Make sure to also answer questions fully and descriptivly. This ensures you seem intellegent and professional and again add a joke or maybe have a conversation about something non-mc so that again you are relatable and again more reliable.

Larger servers:
This is tough one larger servers tend to not need help as much and will usally only take mods to keep an eye on everyone. So those who are good at talking to people will be a good fit for this the best advice i can give is to be professional large server owners are usally more critical and only take the best of the best. So take a lot of time with everything you do make your applications longer and better written than usual. Be more friendly and sound more intellegent. But remember that large servers are the toughest to get into so don't expect to much.
