Hello, this is an easy to follow tutorial of how to build a classic Minecraft medieval house.
Note: Before you start you will need to find a world (grassland or forest would be best) to start your build.
Step 1:
Layout the first level of your house using wooden logs (I used Oak, but Spruce would also work) for structure and stone brick for the lower walls. Alternatively, you could use wool, snow, sand, or stone. Place glass blocks or panes in the middle of the walls for windows.

Step 2:
Place wooden planks on the floor. For a more realistic approach, you could use cobble stone.

Step 3:
Start on the second floor by placing wooden logs overhanging the lower level by 1 block. Use wooden stairs as support joints to give your building a more detailed and authentic look.

Step 4:
Following the same steps taken in Step 1, place upright wooden logs and fill the space with wool, leaving space for windows.

Step 5:
Make a triangular roof using wooden stairs with 1 block overhanging on all sides.

Step 6:
Once your roof is complete, you can fill in the space between the walls and the roof with a pattern of wooden logs and wool. Use any design you want.

Step 7:
Flower baskets and wooden shutters give the house a bright and welcoming look. Place grass blocks 1 block underneath the windows, with wooden slabs on the base of the grass blocks and traps doors on the sides. Fill the flower baskets with flowers, saplings, or grass.

Step 8:
Adding attic windows and a chimney adds more interest to the otherwise dull roof.

Step 9:
Additionally, you could add trees, shrubs, farmland and roads for a more realistic look.
I hope that my guide has helped you to create your own medieval style house.
Thank you for reading.
