Introduction
In this tutorial I will explain how to clone a building in your Minecraft world using any entity you desire. I’m not sure if this method will work in other versions, but you can try it if you want to see.

Setup
The first step to this tutorial is that you will need to set up the structure up exactly how I did. In the picture above.

Place a redstone torch, a command block facing to the right(has to race right) to the left of the torch, and a comparator to the left of that facing into the command block. Then you’ll need to put another command block facing upwards, to the left of that place a piece of redstone dust, a repeater on the max tick delay, and the final command block which is also facing upwards.

Ok now that I’ve gone over the setup, I’ll show you the commands. Alright I’ll tell the commands for the command blocks from right to left.

Right Command Block
-The first command block should be set to Repeat, Needs Redstone, and Unconditional.

-This command block is supposed to clone the structure you want to clone.

-The command is: /execute @e[type=armor_stand] ~ ~ ~ clone x1 y1 z1 x2 y2 z2 ~ ~ ~

The command needs to be fitted to your needs by changing the entity type to the type of entity you want. I’ll leave a link to a list of entities below.

Middle Command Block
-This command block should be set to Impulse, Unconditional, and Needs Redstone.

-This command block should kill your selected entity.

-The command for this block is: /kill @e[type=armor_stand]

The entity type in the command needs to be changed to what type of entity you have chosen for your cloning device.

Left Command Block
- This command block will kill the item you are using as your cloning device.

-The command is: /kill @e[type=item]

Uses
This system could make a good world design. In the world you could make it where the players have to build their own city using the cloning devices you have implanted into the game. There is a world similar to the one I described above which you can read about below. Also, if you need to build an exact replica of a building you have previously built you could use this system so you don’t have to build much.

Tips
This system does have its downfalls just like every other thing in Minecraft.

-One downfall is that sometimes it will glitch out after you place the cloning device and take a few seconds to work. I suggest that you use an armor stand because it doesn’t move after it is placed. I learned this when I was creating it myself because I chose a rabbit since it does not naturally spawn in a flat world.

-If you plan to clone blocks below the ground level then you will need to either place the cloning device that many blocks below ground or change the last set of ~ ~ ~ to ~ ~(the number of blocks below ground) ~

If you need a better description of this tutorial there is a YouTube video over it.

If I find anything else about this device I’ll update the page, but for now that is all for this tutorial.

Extra
I mentioned this world before in this blog but this time I’ll explain what happens in it. So the world is called The Lumen City Challenge. When you spawn into the game you have just been elected mayor of the city an your goal is to make the best city using your armor stand which is called build. The armor stand has to be placed on certain blocks that build things like houses, retail, entertainment, and skyscrapers. I know that it works for Nintendo Switch, but I’m not sure if it works for any of the other version. You can search it up in the marketplace if you want to try and find it. It costs no mine coins at all so it is completely free. That is all I’ll say for this world you’ll just have to see the rest for you’re self.

Yeah it’s not the best system to use but it is a quick way to clone something.
