Hi there
A few of you might have heard that the minecraft pocket edition was released for iPhone and iPod touch
But there are two Problems: You don't have your own skin and you can't use your own texture pack
I figured out how to change that :)
Note: Your iDevice has to be jailbroken for this!
You will learn how to do this in 10 easy steps :)
1. First of all, you'll need a programm called iPhone Folders
http://iphonefolders.com/
2. navigate into the folder computer/ iPhone Folders/ [Your iDevice Name]/ User/ Applications and search for the Minecraft icon
3. Go into the folder, open the minecraftpe.app folder and search for the char.png and the terrain.png
4. copy that to your computer
5. Search for a good texture pack and extract the zip folder (I'll take the oCd pack by _disco)
http://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/ocd-pack/
6. Open bothe the terrain.png with a picture editor (I'll take Paint.NET)
http://www.paint.net/
7. Copy the dots from the minecraft pocked edition terrain.png to the terrain.png of your texture pack
8. Now save that and replace the terrain.png in your minecraftpe.app folder with the new terrain.png
9. Replace the char.png from your minecraftpe.app folder with your char (I used a Captain Morgan Skin by YungNRekless)
http://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/captian-morgan/
10. Open the game on your iDevice
Hope I helped some of you and maybe I someone will figure out how to import a world to the Pocket Edition :D
