     What Not To Do
Many people when they dislike a project, skin, texture pack, etc, simply comment and say,
"This is terrible! You have no creativity whatsoever, worst thing I've seen all day!"

Comments like this do not help at all. It just discourages the person, without giving them a reason to improve. I want to strongly encourage you, do not comment in this manner. There is a much better alternative to give someone ways to improve without dumping a bucket of hate upon their heads. Instead, I would highly recommend the following way of commenting.

The Sandwich Method
Instead, use the sandwich method! What exactly is this method with a peculiar name you ask? I shall tell you! No matter how bad the build is, try to find something good to say about it. Whatever you can compliment, do so. Then tell how you think the submission can be improved, but be sure to word it politely, and in a manner that will show them where they went wrong, instead of damaging them. Finally, wrap up your comment with another compliment, to leave them with a good note of encouragement. This way, they will be inspired to improve, because they believe they have potential.

For example, you can say something like the following for a build, "I really like your choice of blocks, but it needs a little more detail. If you fix that, it would greatly improve the build. You did a great job with your depth as well, keep it up."

The comment above will inspire the person to progress their skill, and how to do so. Always be respectful of the other person and how it would affect them. Read your comment over before posting it, and imagine how you would feel if someone posted the same comment on one of your submissions.Constructive criticism is great, but not when it just discourages the other person, instead of inspiring them.

1.) Don't dump a bucket of hate on someone's head just because you don't like their submission.
2.) Compliment, tell them how to improve, then leave them with a concluding note of encouragement.
3.) Always be mindful of the other person.
4.) It isn't constructive criticism if it is worded in a way that will most likely depress who it is directed at.

Thank you for reading and remember-

The compliments let the submitter know what is working and not to change too.
