Hello my dear readers; as I'm sure you've realized, failure is a common thing in Minecraft. Too common. Many times have I wanted to snap my laptop screen in half because it wasn't showing me what I wanted...and it just looked so damn flimsy.
Although I hope not to be too pessimistic, I would count failure as the inability of technology to work. For example when a mod won't download, when PMC is down, when our favourite server's not updated or having severe lag issues. Like buckets of lava they pour disappointment over our lives, making us think, "I thought time spent in front of a PC was supposed to be easier than real life." The inevitable facial expression is: -_- or perhaps :l
If we now focus more on Planet Minecraft than on the game itself, there are times of true failure when we directly attempt to grab success. We upload projects that will hopefully gain thousands of views, post on the forums with the aim of recieving a few responses, get the ball rolling on our new YouTube channel, etc. Then the ball rolls a few feet and falls into a puddle. Then your project, instead of making a splash actually makes a plop. Then, your forum topic is greeted with deafening silence. The inevitable facial expression is: :L or :( or, if you're really dramatic, D'=
Yes. We all yearn for popularity of some sort but it's easy for it not to happen. We hear about the famous players and outside of Minecraft, we hear about the music stars and film stars whose careers "just snowballed!" We wonder if it will happen for us, and if it doesn't, what then? Apart from going :? how do we deal with failure?
If you want a deadly serious, soul-cleansing, all-consuming, step-by-step solution then click here:

If you want something that'll make you go :1 or :} or maybe even :) then look no further.....
As Bill Lyon once said, "If at first you don't succeed, find out if the loser gets anything."
And remember, as Jeanne Phillips once said, "Success has many fathers, failure is a mother."
So keep in mind that, according to Thomas A Edison, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
Finally, Abraham Lincoln once told everyone that, as long as you are not content with your failures, don't let them define you and always have the desire to overcome them, then you can. As long as you forget the saying that you "can't spell failure without U in it" then you really can.
Thus I wish you all luck on your journeys through Planet Minecraft and in the real world. If you have, thanks for reading.
