Welcome to the 1.9 snapshot tutorial! I have been releasing tons of maps for 1.9 snapshots recently, and many are unclear on how to actually play using version 1.9! Well, this is the right place!
STEP 1 (OPTIONAL) - Make A New Profile For Snapshots
Many new snapshot users actually make a new profile so they can switch versions easily. To create a new profile, simply launch the Minecraft Launcher. Next, click new profile and name it whatever you want. I chose "Snapshot" for ease. Then, you must check "Enable experimental versions" and select the latest snapshot version. Finally, just save your profile!
STEP 2 - Using A Snapshot In Your Existing Profile
Its simple. All you need to do is first, head into your Minecraft Launcher and select "Edit Profile" in the bottom left. Next, you want to check "Enable experimental versions" and click Yes. Go to the Version dropdown and select the latest snapshot version. Then, just save your profile and launch the game!
