Once a wise man said, "If you can you ca talk you can sing, if you can walk you can dance!". However I said if you can write you can draw. Well as long as you can simply place pen and paper down and sccribble then tada! You made art! It may not be good but who cares! Show it off! So let's get to the point here.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU THINK YOUR ART IS BAD:
1. You need a confidence boost! Get your friends to support. I'll support you!
2. Say it's good! You may sound arrogant but who cares if it's bad it is your art not their's don't let them judge your art.
3. If all you can do is scribble color in the blanks! Make it abstract.
HOW TO DRAW:
Well first of all we all know how to draw. Some may not do it well and others may. You can do digital and hand. I do digital and that's my personal choice. So now let me show you how to draw a fun cartoony character!
This tutorial will help both traditional drawers and digital. Just follow the steps to glory!
Step 1
Sketch it out!
Figure out how many heads tall it is and get the simple pose done!
Step 2
Get a little more detail into draw the basic hair shape and boby shape.
What this will do is give you a beeter perspective of what will come from the drawing.
The sketch can be terrible it's just gonna be erased or layered ontop of!
Step 3
Mke it look like something good!
Make the head on a layer above the sketch this wil allow you to easily remove the sketch under it.
Start making everything more real with some magic tool called paintbrush!
Step 4
Do the same wth the body!
By now the sketch should be gone and you will be ready to color once body is finished.
Keep in mind my lines are easier to see when they are scanned in to be over contrasted.
As they where made with a hyper realistic tool.
Step 5
Now throw in a few greys here and there and start sudging them to make a nice shaded body.
This is un contrasted due to the fact that it is easier to see the lines now.
Step 6
Get your eyedropper tool in whatever program you are using.
And set your colors to a comforting shade that fits the shaded area!
You can even skip the second to last step and choose the colors beforehand!
DONE!
