Hey guys, today I am showing you how to find diamond [Branch Mining Version, NOT cave version]. I don't really have anything else to talk about so... let's get started!

Step 1: Creating a new world
Open up your minecraft launcher,go to single player and click Create new World. Name it whatever you want, Type in a seed if you want too.

Step 2: Punch a Tree
Go up to any tree and start mining it. Collect 17 wood [recommended because you can make 1 crafting table and 64 wooden planks]. Use more if you are going to make charcoal. If you are doing a speed challenge collect 4 - 6 [My recommendation].

Step 3: Making a Pic
First you need to craft a crafting bench. Once you have, you need to create a wooden pic. Make at least 2 sticks. Place wooden planks in the top middle, top right and top left. Place sticks in the bottom middle, and the middle middle. You will make a wooden pickaxe.

Step 4: Collect Food and Wool [You can skip this step]
Look for nearby cows, pigs,chickens, sheep, etc. [Especially sheep for regular survival]. Kill them with your fist or you can make a wood sword.

Step 4: Build a Shelter [Skip this step if you are on a speed challenge]
Build any shelter for the first night [Houses built into mountains are nice and easy for the first night].

Step 5: Sleep and Mine
If you did kill three sheep in step 4 then craft a bed to sleep and sleep to set your spawn and to set time to day. get your wooden pic and mine out some stone [At least 5 for a stone pic and stone sword]. Create a stone pic and a stone sword and start branch mining or just regular mining [It would help if it does go downwards though but DON'T break Minecraft's Number 1 rule - Don't mine DIRECTLY down].

Step 6: Keep Mining...
Keep mining until you find iron. Once you have found iron craft a smelter and place the iron in the top box of the smelter and place either coal, charcoal, wood, wooden planks or sticks [You can use other things but I recommend these items]. Craft an iron pic, if you have enough you can craft an iron sword and iron armour.

Step 7: Mining Down
This is why step 6 mining down would help and would've given you a head start to this step. Keep mining downwards [Yet again not DIRECTLY downwards]. Until you hit bedrock. When you hit bedrock start mining in one direction 5 blocks above bedrock [recommended because diamond HAS to be at within 16 blocks above bedrock and most diamond spawns around 5 blocks above. This MAY take a while but if you're lucky it won't take long though. Eventually you will come to diamond. Get your iron pic and start mining it. Be careful of lava - It's a giant danger at 5 block from bedrock.

Step 8: Enjoy your diamonds
Craft whatever you want with your all new diamonds. HOORAY!
