Heres a beginners guide to diamond finding.

#1. collect as much iron as you can(Comes in usefull ;)

#2.Create a set of iron armor,and atleast 10 iron pix. this helped alot when it came to diamond mining.

#3.make 1 or 2 iron swords in case of caves and stuff :o

#4.mine till you hit bedrock. then go up 5 to 7 blocks

#5.mine torwards a water or lava sound.(IF YOU DONT HEAR THOSE SOUNDS,MINE TILL U DO!!!!

#6.make a few strip mines. 3 blocks aparrt from each tunnel.

#7.done!!! i found diamonds in about 10 to 15 mins using this.
