How to get 1000% brightness in minecraft?

Herro guys today im going to be showing you how to get 1000% brightness in minecraft step by step ;)

Step 1-Type Run into your start search.

Step 2-Type %appdata% into run click enter.

Step 3-Click .Minecraft.

Step 4-Click the *Options* file in your .minecraft.

Step 5-Locate *Gamma* in your options file.

Step 6-Set it to 1000.0

Step 7- Enjoy Minecraft in lightness :) And diamond this ^.^

It works on 1.15+ so you should be able to.

Hi, I know this post is very old but im having problems,

Im on windows 10 and there is no "enter" on the run app
I also can't find .minecraft I'm probably looking at the wrong place because I can only see 4 folders: Game; runtime; tools; Minecraft Launcher (this happens when i click Browse when i use Run), other than "Browse" there is "ok" but when i click it nothing happens.

Please help I can't find it :C

on windows 10, the file is located i "C:\Users\Daveth\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftpe" the mincraft folder may not EXACTLY be that, but it will be similarly named. however when i loaded the game, i got the notice "resources reset" so i don't think it works

press home + R then type %appdata% then double click .minecraft and open options

if this doesn't work then send a screen shot
also are you on mac or windows
