Have you ever wanted to make your PlanetMinecraft account page look better?
Sure you can upload content that fills your profile page with interesting content, but it still wont look as good as it could be.
Have you ever wanted colored text in your "About Me" area? Well this tutorial will show you in a few simple steps just how to do that.
It's easy!!!
Step 1:
Start by going to "My Account"
Then go to Edit Avatar, Profile & Settings"
Click this link to do that http://www.planetminecraft.com/account/profile/
As you can see, there aren't a lot of editing tools for making your text pretty.
All you have is bold, italics, underline, and a few other tools. There are no tools that let you change the size of text, color, or things like that.
Step 2:
This is where things start to make sense.
In a new browser tab, go and start to create a blog.
When you go to create a new blog, you will notice that there are many more tools to make your text pretty.
There are tools to make things colored, change its size, center, etc.
Now, this is where you will be making your "About Me" text.
Step 3:
While in the blog creation page, start creating the text you want for your About area. You can use colors, links, center, and other things that you wouldn't be able to use on the usual About me editor.
Step 4:
When you are done, copy all of the text that you have just created for your About me page.
Go back to the page where you edit your About Me section (Here)
Step 5:
Paste the text that you just copied into the area where you put your About me information.
The text should be all colored and look like the text you created in your blog page.
Step 6:
Don't save the blog, close that tab and make sure to save your profile information.
Done!
You should be all done with making your profile page look a bit more awesome!!!!
NOTE: I'm not sure, but I am certain that you can also use written bb code instead of doing all of this, but a lot of people do not know how to write their own bb code, so this is teaching them how to do it the easier way.
