Hello everyone,
You know how there is a rule don't dig straight down?Well there is a way of digging straight down without dying so you can get to caves and diamonds the fastest.First you need to dig down but not by one block.You need to dig down 1 by 2 blocks and stay in a way that if you dig one block you will be able to stand on the other and vice-versa.That way if you dig into lava you wont fall and you will be able to stand on the other block.I hope this helped you guys.
Note:Be sure you have some crafting materials with you so if your pick/picks break,you can craft another one.
