How to get to .minecraft folder with 2 ways.
Windows ~ This way you can only use in windows I believe.
First go to your start menu
Then type %appdata% and a folder called Roaming will pop up, click on it.
Then you will find the .minecraft folder in there.
Through Minecraft ~ This way you should be able to do on any type of computer.
First go to minecraft.
Click on texture packs in main menu and then click on "open texture pack folder"
Go a folder back and you will find the .minecraft folder.
