Switching between mods hard and annoying? Wanting a simple way to switch between vanilla Minecraft and Mo' mobs? Here's a simple solution to your woes. Having multiple Minecrafts! Multiple Minecrafts you ask? Having different Minecraft launchers(and .minecraft folders) allows you to have different minecraft.jars which you can download different mods to each different minecraft. You can do this as many times as you wish and like I said before, it's super duper simple. Let me show you how it's down.

Step 1: Make a folder titled whatever you wish. (MC Vanilla, MC ToomanyItems, etc) In this case, mine will be titled MC Tutorial. I think you can figure out why.

Step 2: You are going to want to put your Minecraft launcher in this folder.

Step 3: You are going to want to go to %appdata% then roaming. If you do not know how, here is a picture and a prayer.

Step 4: You are going to want to drag the whole, yes the WHOLE .minecraft folder into the first folder(in my case MC Tutorial). If your original .minecraft folder has mods etc, you might want to re-download the launcher and .minceraft from minecraft.net to get a fresh start.

Step 5: The folder should look like this.

Step 6: Next you are going to want to make a text document or notepad and put it in the folder.

Step 7: Now you are going to want to paste this code into the notepad
1st line: set APPDATA=%cd%
2nd line: javaw -Xms512M -Xmx512M -cp Minecraft.exe net.minecraft.LauncherFrame
it should look like this.

Step 8: Next you are going to go to File, then Save as.. and save it in that folder, along with the title named as something like Start, or Minecraft Launcher so you know that's what you use to start Minecraft. Make sure you add '.bat' to the end of whatever you make the title though. That is very important. Then you need to go to Save as type, and change it to All Files. Then you may save it.

Once you are done you can now play Minecraft. Use the .bat instead of the Minecraft Launcher. Whenever you are uploading mods to the specific Minecraft instead of going to %appdata% etc, you will just find the folder on your desktop. Thanks for reading this till the end, bye!
