Today im going to show you how to increase fps in minecraft
Step 1: Optifine
Firstly Download and install optifine
google search optifine and look for optifine.net
When you do your game setting should look like this:
If it does you can move onto next step
Step 2: Basic optimization
Copy all the setting to look like this:
Step 3: Advanced optimization
Just change the setting for animatoin and details.
For animation setting click all off
Step 4: Task Manager (you will have to follow these steps everytime you play)
The steps im using are for windows 8,8.1 and windows 10 (desktop version) these steps are diffrent for windows 7 and later
Right click on taskbar and look for task manager.
When open look for Java(TM) platform SE binary and right click it, and press "go to details"
There will be a program highlighted (java.exe) right click on that and hover over "set priority" and click on "high"
Step 5: Add more RAM to minecraft
These step are more for 1.8+ but i think you could find a way for older versions
Firstly pull up the minecraft launcher and click on edit profile.
Then click the JVM Arguments.
In the box beside it there should be a code like this;
-Xmx1G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M
You want to chnage the begining and the ending of the code to look like this(begining is the maximum amount of ram it can use and the end is the minimum it can use):
-Xmx1G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn1024M
,
This now means minecraft will always be runing on 1GB of ram, no more, no less
you can change the begining to 2GB but im not going to :/
