My name is Bloxxed and I'm here to teach you how to install custom worlds to Minecraft. It might not seem like the most original thing out there but it seems like a common problem. If this is too long to read, feel free to watch the video!
*THIS IS A TUTORIAL FOR WINDOWS 10 ONLY*
Step 1 - Install your worldsave
Alright, it might seem obvious but you need to install your worldsave first. If you're using Google Chrome, tap on your download and click "Open when done" when the menu opens.
Step 2 - Open 'Run'
Once the file has opened, minimize your file explorer. Find where it says 'type here to search' on your taskbar. Type in 'Run' and when it pops up in the results, open it up. Then type in '%appdata%'.
Step 3 - Open .minecraft
When the file explorer launches, find the file named .minecraft and open it up. Find the 'saves' folder.
Step 4 - Re-open the minimized file explorer tab.
Open back up the downloads folder so that both tabs are side by side. Drag the worldsave into the saves folder.
Step 5 - Launch Minecraft and enjoy!
Good job! You've successfully installed your own custom world to Minecraft! Just keep in mind that if it doesn't end up showing up in the game, some worldsaves have the files needed to upload the world in a separate folder. Check before closing windows and launching Minecraft.
Thanks for reading!
Sincerely,
Bloxxed
