I'm confused.. where do you put the optifine.jar if you dont have forge?

You right click it and open it with the Java Platform SE Binary.

I know that I am late to the party here, but I dont see it automatically come up when i tried to get it for 1.16.3, even when it shows in the .minecraft versions folder. I just cant get it to come up in installations in the launcher. And yes i did use the java binary software that was needed to get everything.

I cant open jars with Java. Its bugged.
