The process of installing Minecraft shaders might appear a bit complicated at first glance, but it's actually quite easily accomplished using the help of a little mod called Optifine! Basically, you need to have run Minecraft in the version you want at least once. Then you need to install Java, if you haven't already, as well as Optifine for your Minecraft version. All that's left now is downloading an appropriate shader and putting it in your Minecraft shaders folder.
