How to install a texture pack in steps
1.Find a texture pack you want
2.Download it and a bar will be on the bottom of the screen with the texture packs name and a loading symbol/sign
3.While the texture pack you chose is downloading go to start,run and the type %appdata%
4.After that you need to go to .minecraft which is the file full of your minecraft screenshots,worlds(saves), texture packs etc
5.Click into the texture packs folder and it will have your texture packs(if you have any)
6.Go back to your google tab (with the texturepacks file still open)and the loading symbol/sign wont be there anymore(if it is just wait for it to load completely)
7.When the texture pack is done downloading you drag it into the texture packs folder
8.Log into minecraft and the texture pack should be ready

1.Download the pack 2.Start Minecraft 3.Name the folder/zip of the texture pack 4.go to "Texture Packs" on Minecraft 5.Click "open texture packs folder" 6.put in the texture pack 7.click on the pack and wait until it has a white bar around it. To me its quicker not that I am complaining or anything...this is another way.
