Hey guys, if you've been wondering on how to make a good minecraft server, with proper plugins and bukkit and all that good stuff, then this tutorial is for you! Now there may not be all dem' fancy letters or graphics in this tutorial, but I can y'all will learn something new!

Step 1: First off, you need to decide, are you going to host from your computer, or an online host?

Step 1.1: If you're hosting from your computer, then you'll need to portforward. To do this follow these steps:

- Type 192.168.1.1 (or 192.168.0.1) in your address bar. It may ask you for a username and pass, usely it's admin for user, and leave it blank for password
- Then go to "Applications and Gaming" (it should be that or similiar)
- Afterwards, go to "Port Range Forwarding" (again, that or similiar)
- Now leave that page open and open the "Start Menu"
- Go to "Run" And type "cmd", then press "Enter"
- A black window should popup, now type in "ipconfig /all"
- A bunch of random text should come up, try to find something that says: "IPV4 Address"
- Once you find it, simply remember the IP (it should be something like 192.168.x.x)
- Now go back to the internet page, and type in the IP you just find in the provided space, you should find it easily
- Now that that's done, copy this into something that says "Start to End Port" 25565
- There should also be a "protocol" option, simply select "both" or "TCP And UDP" as the selection
- Just save your options and you're good to go! If you want even more help then check this video out (not mine): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWF2aCM2Mm4&feature=related

Step 2: Download This: goo.gl/n3aPI (it's the newest craftbukkit, and will always be)

Step 2.1: Rename the file to "Craftbukkit.jar," this is important!

Step 3. Download This: http://www.mediafire.com/?5gc06dt473g97go (It's files I've assorted together, they are the essentials!

Step 4: Put all the downloads you got into 1 folder called "Minecraft Server." In that folder you should see a file called "run.bat," double click it.

Step 5: A bunch of gibberish will appear on screen, after everything's is stopped and a complete sign has been written, simply write "stop" into the black screen or "cmd" and hit "Enter"

Step 5.1: Included in the downloads are some of the plugins that you probably should have on your server (essentials, nocheatplus, nolagg, etc)

Step 5.2: To setup or configure any of the plugins, you should probably instally "Notepad++" from here: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/

Step 5.3: Now to edit the config files themselves, simply go into the "Plugins" folder, then go into the respective plugin's folder you wish to edit and right-click the "config.yml", or "conf.yml" or "conf.json" and click open with "Notepadd++"

Step 6: Editing the configs should be fairly easy, as usually in each config, there are notes on what to do, and what not to do

Step 7: To play on your server, simply run the "run.bat" file. The IP for your server can be found here: http://www.ipchicken.com/

Step 7.1: Remember to add: ":25565" to whatever IP you got

Step 8: As an added bonus, I pre-configured the Essentials plugin config file, to how stuff usually is!

Step 9: If you're hosting a server online, the steps should be very similiar, just skip step 1

Step 10: If you liked to tutorial, please give a diamond and a favourite! Thank you for your time!
