I personally use  Paint.NET and I ALWAYS use the line tool, when I use it my lines are more crisp and I can bend them on paint.NET. Also be sure to add the ears in your initial sketch, and your picture should take a while to make! Meaning, don't be afraid to erase and retry something if it doesn't look proportional. Last but not least, I do not think you attempted shaded, and that makes a large difference! Good luck <3

I am a girl, and the chibi does look kind of like me I guess xD, but I do have legs! The chibi mostly coordinates with a skin a created earlier http://www.planetminecraft.com/skin/lavander-3287635/
